I forgot to write down the name when I photographed it yesterday at the nursery.

It's beautiful Sue. I went to a nursery yesterday and had 3 in my hand, but then the rain came down,so I put them down. Delphiniums never survive in my garden for some reason, but I was going to give them another shot.

Isn't that pretty! What an interesting color combination. The shape reminds me of my Bellamosum:

I've had problems with delphiniums as well in the past, but have success with them for the last 3 years. In fact, "Percival" won 2nd prize at the flower show this year. My best guess is that the regularly moist soil helps alot. ALso delphiniums are heavy feeders. If that is "Blue Mirror", it's actually a larkspur. I'm not sure what the difference is between delphinium and larkspur. Anyone know? Blue Mirror apparently self seeds if its conditions are right. It is a short lived perennial.
