I'm already excitedly planning for the coming spring and my new peonies! I am looking at something called Grow Through Supports. Has anyone used these and how are they likes?

Thanks!

If you choose single or anemone-flowered or species peonies, you won't supports at all... does that sound appealing?

We had a post another time and here are some of the suggestions.

http://www.gardenbuddies.com/forum/messages/1106345/1162225.html

I did go out and buy a variety of stakes and the linkstakes were very good. I believe it they were from http://www.gardeners.com/.

Lee Valley another mail order has specific peony stakes that look interesting too.

Of course your best bet are to plant the single or semi doubles, but who can resist the others?

these for the 1st I purchased-
Madame de Verneville
Rozella
Sorbet

then I bought one out of a ladies garden. All I know is that she said it was pink.
Hope I made some good choices...
