This Autumn fern really needs dividing. It seems to like that spot and has filled in right up. I have never divided a fern but will need to do that with this one.

To divide a fern is easy you just dig it up and i take a knife and cut through each flower part without cutting the hearts off you should get lots the more you dividethem the better but wait til they are fully taken over
