Many of us have a Boston Fern, but have you ever wondered what the leaves look like close up?
I did so....

125X, you can see a main vein amongst the cells, and you may be able to spot a few special cells.


If not, heres a closer look!



And an even closer look at an individual stomata, or breathing pore.
These open and close to allow or stop oxygen release.
