Ferns are fab! What a great selection, they look so nice in those natural surroundings - what most of us try to achieve but fail!

Is there anything you missed on this trip to Greece!? It seems that all of the plant world did it's thing so you could mark this as one of your best trips.

It is interesting to see the cyclamen growing with the moss. I would have thought the moss growing was indicative of moisture and the cyclamen would not be able to survive in such conditions. Perhaps it's got enough drainage on the slope it is located on.

you will have gathered I enjoyed it.Two uninterrupted selfish selfindulgent weeks just stoppping for the odd bit of food and sleep and having my nose stuck in the natural world. Heaven !

That is hederifolium which grows in a lot of moist shady situations.
