There was bedlam out there yesterday when a small group of male Tree Swallows arrived and started arguing over the remaining nesting boxes.

As noted in my post on the bluebirds, so far they are holding one box and the swallows aren't bothering them. In any case, I think I will put up a few more boxes just in case!!


...you can imagine what they are saying in the first photo!

It is very much apparent that the pair in the first picture are having "Words".
The second one seems to say:"more rooms for rent?"
