... great a picture, either. I couldn't believe it Tanya, when I saw your indigo bunting. These fellows showed up about three weeks ago and I've been constantly trying to get a picture, but they are very flitty. As soon as the camera is in place, the bird is gone.
At first there was one male, then two, then three. Today, for the first time, there were four. There are probably females, too, but they are hard to pick out among the sparrows and finches.

I've never gotten to see the Lazuli, Anne... I hope to someday. I think yours is the first I've seen here at GBs so I'm awfully glad you shared. I KNOW how flitty the little buntings are, believe me.
