Let me be the first one from the Charlston Lake area to report the first Hummingbird !!!!! Came just back from the garden 5 minutes ago and as I faced the front door about to open it I heard this distinct Hmmmm......Brrrrr..... (o.k. Carol, just another sound effect nut here) I wondered if I should dare to hope, I turn slowly around and low and behold the most important spring/summer harbinger had arrived, the much beloved Hummingbird has come back. Welcome Hummer! The circle is almost complete now, the only one that's missing is the brown Thrush now, or the Wood Thrush. Always mix the two up. Sorry, did not have the camera in hand. Tomorrow I have to go to town, so camera work has to be shelfed for a day. But will be diligent on Saturday and beyond to try & catch him with my trusty digi.

Thanks for reminding me, Carol. It's done. My report might be on the map now. This is a great idea to use electronic help to keep track of these feathered, little buddies.
