They are a feature of the Windows Vista sidebar, so it doesn't take any talent. LOL. You might be able to find plug-ins for other operating systems that let you do the same thing.

gee, I feel like a genius now...not! lol
Ah, this would take talent (not to mention a very extended work break, lol) finding the plug-ins!

I find I can completely shut out noticing any sticky note. Long lists in a notebook have worked best for me. Then I can refer to all the previous lists and see how I have accomplished nothing. I have taken to adding accomplished tasks to the list after the fact and crossing them out so I can see I actually did get something done.

Oh, Loretta, I thought I was the only one who did that! I'm known for my lists. I tell everyone to write things down on a list so you don't have to keep all that in your head and you'll have more room to remember the important stuff. Like "where did I put that chocolate?".

Ha Ha! Seil, you got my number! Another thing I do is make lists of my lists. I use to carry a notebook with me but lost it a few times in the stores. I can just imagine what people must think when they find my notebooks. I hope they don't know me.

Hahaha!
I've been at the point for a while where I think I need to make a list of where I'm going (it's no longer enough to just make a list of what I need to buy) and where I live (maybe even draw a map) before I go out because I've already forgotten once how to get home. I am hoping I am just distracted and frazzled, not something worse.

I do that. Often I am driving down the road and completely forget where I am going. I just know I'm going in the right direction. Well, off to do today's list and later, I will try to post some pictures of a few things I wish I could have bought at last year's Philadelphia Flower Show (that could be one reason I don't get my list done).

DJ of course you are. You run a farm, look after a young child, chickens, dog, husband, parrots (anyone/thing I have forgotten?) You are not superwoman, as much as you might try to be and nobodys brain can store that much information. If it is of any consolation I bought a dictaphone so I could listen to my lists of things to do but I always forget to take it with me, or I cannot remember where I left it and have to write a list as well! I have also gone to the wrong garden because I forgot what day it was and forgotten to pick my kids up from school trips, forgotten to take them to the dentist/doctor and the worst one forgotten to pick my mum up from the train station once! No...wait...I also forgot my own mothers birthday. That has to be the worst...Feel any better now DJ?

Yes, DJ. You really have accomplished a lot and you have a lot of caretaker duties with kids, animals and farm plus restoring your home. And then of course you have a million ideas floating around your head that are much more interesting to think about than the mundane stuff. I found this year since my youngest is in school full time, some of my brains have actually come back.

Yes. Ugh. It's awful!
No. Now I feel bad for you, too! Well, I guess we don't call it the [OoGBoO] club for nothing. How sad we all are! LOL!!
LOL! Turtles, rabbit, plants, chicken in plant room, house, and myself. Maybe I should write that all down. I try to have a system and I think that part of my problem is that everything is so systematic that I usually do it all on autopilot and when I snap into conscious thought, I don't know where I am or what I am doing because I haven't actually been thinking about it.

I am guilty of this too! The worst is when I don't consistently put my notes in the same place and have to try to rewrite them from memory...it's funny, it seems like I end up with longer lists than the original ones!
I don't know about DJ, but I do!
Oh, isn't that the truth...actually, its the story of my life

Eek! Moira, what do you think will happen to the poor unwitting saps who buy this one? Anything? I always grab spent flowers around the neck with my bare hands when I toss them out. http://www.rossirovetti.com/scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=48

That first one is very interesting. Let's see...Leafy Kale, Miniature Cabbage, China Berry, Oak Leaves, Ornamental Pumpkin Gourds and over a dozen Terracotta-colored Roses all for only $165. Available in three easy payments. DJ, you should really be arranging your vegetables instead of selling them by the bushel. OK, here are a few pics. I'll do thumbnails for all you broadband handicapped people. The first was a window in Paris, France. I loved these simple containers. They go perfect with my house. This was a bird condominium at the Philadelphia Flower Show in 2007 which I just loved. Not sure how practical it is though. Some gray urns I liked but were overpriced. And some stainglass.

I had thought the same thing, only I'd be selling mine for 20 bucks per bouquet. Even at that, they probably wouldn't sell around here... still too expensive!
LOL! A window shopping trip to France AND a flower show. Woohoo! Now that is my kind of shopping. You've been holding out on us! Love the urns. But now that I know where your photo album is, I'm going to go snoop around in it. LOL!
