nope :( It is fun to see all of these shakers ~~ more more! I have seen where a single/stray shaker had a tassel/fringe added to the bottom and was made into a lamp, ceiling fan or shade pull ~ I thought that was a neat idea. I tried to find a picture online to show but came up with -0-

That is a very neat idea, Mary, sort of like the wind chimes made from old spoons.

I was starting to make windchimes from old spoons. They were going to hang down from an old tea pot I had. (One of those things that never happened last year.)

We use a one handed pepper grinder and no salt in our household. At our wedding 39 years ago, we received about 10 s&p shakers though!

Isn't that funny? I hadn't bought any shakers for myself until I bought the pumpkin ones. I've had several other sets, but they get trashed when we move, when parrots knock them over, and that sort of thing. We don't use salt or pepper, but sometimes we have guests that do. As a matter of fact, I've had those cat shakers for many, many years. I leave them out all of the time because I think they're cute. It was only in the last year or so that either my Mom or I noticed that you don't have to count the holes in the top to remember which is S and which is P... the tails are actually shaped like S and P. DUH!!!

OOhhh Mary, I really like those. A lot of my family is into antiques & it reminds me of what a few of them would have in their homes. Thanks for sharing!

These are silver, say "Kenilworth 21" and were a gift. I believe these are from the 1920's. As per a recent Ebay sale ($56) I don't think they have high value. Mary - I LOVE your's.

Wow, Charlene! Sometime, if I ever set up a formal dining room in this house, I want to get shakers that have that same sort of shape. Very classic and beautiful.

Neat! How amazing to have a complete set like that, Donna. I see you've even expanded their use beyond S&P. Very cool.
