Cool 'birds' Donna and D.J. :) Just one here and it belongs to D.H. He saw it, admired it, and our friend gave it to him as a gift. :)

Sue, nice shorebird! I'd like to get some of those and some old duck decoys for my living room. Mary, what a pretty, proud roo! What is he on?

Ever since this thread was first posted I HAD to have a rooster! I couldn't believe I couldn't find even ONE in my house. When I saw this plate the other day I knew this was the one I needed!

Suzy, gorgeous roo! You know, I stopped in here last night because I had seen some WFD threads in which someone mentioned the roo thread to you, and I was so disappointed to not see a roo from you in here. So what a pleasant and total surprise this morning to see your new roo. Susan, no offense meant of course, but: Oh, poor roo! LOL. I'm not sure I could serve a chicken that way in my household. People (probably mostly me) might cry! It looks a little too much like the real thing looking back at me. HAHA! It's very pretty, though... make a nice gravy boat or flower vase in my house. Haha! (I could never tell my roos and hens about it if I ever bought something like that. They just wouldn't see the humor! LOL.)

My goodness, I DO! Here's the rug in front of the fridge. I see I should have given it a good shake before photographing it!
And just for fun! DH brought these home for me yesterday: the goose who laid two golden eggs! Hehehe.

This is a fun thread! Great roosters, everyone. This pair used to be in my neighbor's garden. I had always admired them. When she passed away, her family brought them to my house and said she had wanted me to have them. They are treasures to me.
This guy came home with me from an estate sale.

What a sweet story, Tammy. I'm sure they have a very good home with you, too. The estate sale roo sure was a clever invention. Cute.

What a fine and handsome gentleman he is. He reminds me of the Silver Phoenix and Onagadori roosters that I would love to have.
