Tammy, we must be twins because that's the only explanation I can come up with for how much we have in common. It's getting spooky! That's a terrific harvest your sister and BIL had and I love your wagon. I hope you share some pix of your painted Cucurbits. I bet you do awesome work. Too cool!

Really neat pics Tammy and D.J! Tammy, that looks like it could be a hay-ride wagon. :) It's been awhile but those are fun! You two do share a lot in common. :)

Autumn on a farm must be heaven on earth. I'll post some pics later, but we're only seeing color here in the mountains -- not yet in our valley.

I bet you're enjoying a different approach to autumn, Gloria. Hope you're experiencing some cooler but lovely weather as you make a more subtle entrance (so far) into autumn. :)

Tanya, thanks so much! I do love our old wagon and I have some great memories of hay rides, too!

Thanks,Gloria. I feel like I have my little piece of heaven here. Looking forward to seeing shots in your part of the country!

Tanya, I love your autumn shot with whatever post-processing you did! Excellent!

Everyone's photos are charming - flowers, pumpkins, trees and all.

I finally had time tonight to put a few of mine together - the first day of fall here:

Susanq, what a beautiful collage! I really ought to get some of those colorful fall flowers for my own garden next year.

I'm not sure if it's different here, or not. Mornings and evenings are chilly enough for a jacket, but we're still around 75-78 degrees during the day. The mountains are blazing!

It sounds just ideal, Gloria. I'm hoping this wonderful weather extends into early Oct. We're planning on doing our color tour (if we don't get rain that day) the 9th. Hope to get some neat shots then.

Wow, Arlene, that's gorgeous. Autumn sure is good to you. The blues are wonderful, but then I so love it. What effect is that on the daisy? Neato. It looks familiar. Lots of faves here.

I am going to have to ask Santa to get me Photoshop.

Here are a few pics from my fall so far...

Squirrels digging up the pots...

Squirrel food - they really are rude dinner guests...

More squirrel food...reminder to self - plant the bulbs before the ground freezes.

Fall sales - $2 each - oh boy!!!!

Tomatoes that will never be...

I wish I could say the leaves are dressed for fall here but it is really a stem borer in a neighboring rugosa. The flower is Dancing in the Wind

Miscanthus in flower

Great pics, Loretta, and hilarious commentary, too! Can't wait to see your great haul of bulbs blossom in the spring. Can you believe that with all the bulbs I've planted this fall (and all the ones still waiting to be planted) that I was eyeballing the bulbs at the store over the weekend? It's a sickness! LOL.

Guess I better fall in line with a fall pic before the snow starts falling :-)

This is the river view just below our front deck...always a sight that makes me want to get the canoe out

Wow, Derek, gorgeous! That is yet one more picture of yours that I could just sit and stare at forever.

Arlene, somehow I missed your fair collage before... it's beautiful! I love the colors.
