Growit ,Carruths stuff is pretty unique I like it because it adds a touch of fun to the garden and home. You know I'm not sure if it can be painted, but probly so . Some of the the ones I have for outside are concrete,so I don't see why not! I've tryed doing some christmas containers a couple years ago, kept over my two largest pots and added some evergreen roping, some branches and some other natural items and just couldn't get the look I was after.you know, like the ones you see in the garden and home decor mags. I guess I just didn't have "the eye" for that kind of decorating. I wish I did,I look at those photo's in the mags. and those posted on these forums and wish I had that talent. I really think it makes a garden complete when you know how to bring it full circle through all the seasons. .....Mike

I have no idea of a name as I cannot remember at all where we got to or who was who. It seems so long ago. How about Potduh? I will come back later to answer the rest. Sorry off out wiv the girlies for last Christmas shop!

I'm pretty sure we had reserved Duhmeister for the first male. I remember someone had suggested it either for themselves or someone else, but it sounded kind of male-ish. Maybe that was back when we came up with Lt. Commanduh for Seil. Although, your idea could be good in reverse. Duhpot (pronounced so as to rhyme with "depot"... that way it's really confusing because it's like depot which makes no sense, and yet obviously has pot connotations so that true [OoGBoO]s are totally lost. LOL!). (I'm so confused already that I couldn't remember if I was supposed to end that last parenthesis with a ], a ), or a }. Hahaha!)

LOL! Scary ain't it Steve? Welcome to the OoGBoO thread. Just by posting on it you become one you know. Confused? No? Then maybe you could explain it to me cos I am totally lost!
It certainly does. I like things like that too Mike. I have a crocodile lurking in the undergrowth around my pond and several lizards hiding in my garden. I also have a gazebo (vague memories of DJ calling it a shed!) which is going to be completely over the top inside. Not sure whether to go for wacky or brothel.
Oh well. I shouldn't worry. The pots look amazing the rest of the year. Must mean you get a bit of a rest each Winter which can't be bad.
We did?....Yep we did.
Haha! Funny. I should have explained my 'Potduh' was meant to be pronounced 'Potter' (Didn't have time as the doorbell rang) but I think your version is better. Now what about Steve?...Downunduh?

ROFLMAO! Hahaha! Sorry about that! Well, I knew it wasn't a barn. LOL!
You can't do both?
Hahaha! This post is so funny my eyes are watering.
Oh, my gosh! Ta-duh! You get the Duhnqueen Donut award for creativity. That is the best title for him, hands down. (And don't you dare ask if you get another gourd prize as part of the Duhnqueen Donut award. HAHAHA! (Have you even heard of Dunkin' Donuts? It's a plague here in New England. HAHAHA!)) Now, can you come up with an insignia to match? That whole Potduh thing makes me think of pot-au-feu. I think we'll have to reserve pot-au-duh (pronounced to rhyme with feu, obviously) for the first poor fish to come from France or Canada. Someone better swim over and check on Steve. He might have been rendered unconscious just now.

HAHA! Possibly. Have to wait until the seats are done by hubby (could be years but I live in hope) before I start to decorate. I have a collection of things given to me as Christmas and birthday presents over the last 2 years. I told my friends to get me anything completely 'off the wall' to put in there. Some are brothel like.
Careful or your bowl might overflow!
Oooh thankyou.
Darn! Was hoping for a matching pair.
Yes we import all the best things from America!
What? Have great ideas and then have to do that as well?! I am but a humble goldfish.
ROFL! Mais oui. C'est une idée parfaite.

LOL! I wish I was Meg. Could afford to make a much larger donation to this site than I did. Still conscious then Steve? LOL! And I just read you are going to be a posty! Should be well fun and very sociable. Just think of all the long chats you can have as you do your rounds and all the gardens you will get to nose at. Do you have to work early shifts like they do here (4am start) or is it done differently in Aus? Can you take Cooper as well when you go out delivering? Sounds like a lovely way to ease yourself into retirement in fact it sounds so nice now that I have written it all down I am sorely tempted to change profession myself especially now the weather is getting so cold.

This site can be a bit slow to load at times, but I like it anyway: http://www.bitsandpieces.com Last year, I ordered some brain teasers for Christmas presents. The company sent a free Christmas puzzle and my parents and I put it together over Christmas. My son helped strew the pieces about. I thought this year I would get some more puzzles for us to work on... year 2 of my new family Christmas tradition. Now that my son likes putting together puzzles, I picked out some that he could help us with. This one reminds me of my butterfly box: http://images.bitsandpieces.com/bitsandpieces/images/us/local/products/deta il/01-W5518_dt.jpg My son will like this one, for obvious reasons: http://images.bitsandpieces.com/bitsandpieces/images/us//local/products/det ail/18-W0045_dt.jpg This last one should be interesting. It's an optical puzzle that shifts as you change your vantage point. http://www.bitsandpieces.com/text/content/media/04-W5268-002.gif

I was just thinking about how many [OoGBoO]s we have now. Me, Lisa, Moira, Mary, Seil, Cindy, Steve, and Mike. Is that everyone? That seems like a lot. Are we in school, yet?

Oooh, oooh, oooh! (I seem to say that a lot don't I?) That first site would be great for stocking fillers for my boys and presents for my 'I am really fussy and any present you get me will be well bad' nephew. Wonder what the shipping costs are like or if there is a similiar site here will look in a minute. Puzzles. What a great family tradition to start. I like doing puzzles after all the pavlova of Christmas is done with. Invariably all the people who say puzzles are boring start helping me. That 3Dish one you posted is really clever.
Yes I think so. How many fish are in a school? Would be nice if Gloria joined us and where is Lisa these days?

And exactly which first site are you referring to? I am swimming around aimlessly here, totally lost.
Haha!
Got me, yes it would, and her company told them no personal doings on the Internet. LOL. So, she's lying low and seems to be more seriously mulling a home connection. She said we could be the only two people on the planet with dial-up. LOL. I think I'm going to start calling it dinosaur-up. Or sloth-up.

Well 8 is a gaggle of geese but I don't know about a school of fish. I hope Lisa can get back here again, we miss her. You are not the only one left with dial-up, DJ. I have several friends that live in very rural areas and they all are on dial up. They may be slower but they get here just the same.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzoooooooommmmmmMMMMM! driveby :) I'm not reading through the archives. I'll just see what goes on from here. I may be afraid. Emasculating goldfish? Oh No! Christmas shopping online? uh, yeah, here's a manly approach. I just ordered the wife's Christmas present last night. She gets a stainless steel dishwasher to finish off the stove and microwave. (It came with the house 13 years ago and I've been lucky it hasn't busted and leaked yet but she gets the "stainless" upgrade for Christmas bling) Yeah, that's a manly thing to do. Dishwasher had to be replaced anyway so add a few extra $$ and call it Christmas. Now lets bow our heads and say the man's prayer: I'm a man but I can change if I have too I guess
