THANKS TO TERRYK AND ART600 !!! MY CYCALMEN SEED HAVE GERMINATED ( WELL ONLY THE MIXED COUM AND SCENTED HERDROFOLIUM (SP??) !! BUT I BET THE OTHERS ARENT TO FAR BEHIND ... I AM TRYING TO GET SOME PICS :]

It will take a bit of time for the leaves. You won't get to see what they are truly like till next year.

Growing from seed takes patience...

It is exciting. The seed I sowed from Tim and others (e.g. Ellen at Seneca Hill) started germinating outdoors in February. What is the single leaf that comes out after germination? It looks just like a mini-leaf and already has markings and varieties of color like those seen on mature plants. There are some very interesting ones, particularly among C. hederifolium.

This is the seed leaf and if they have markings that is a good indication that the true leaves could be good although you are unlikely to see these until next season.
