Hi, Yesterday was the Cyclamen Spring Show at Wisley. The show itself was not as well attended as previously, but never the less the displays of plants was of a very good standard. Primarily on display was C. pseudibericum, C. persicum and C. rhodium especially peloponnesiacum. Ian Robertson and Cycnich ( Pat ) had great displays . Pat especially had exceptional C. graecum still in leaf. I thought I would share some of the photographs taken at the show with you all ( over a couple of threads )... The cyclamen look equally as good in flower as well as leaf. 1st thread is of C. graecum, C. pseudibericum, C. rohlfsianum and C. coum Tilebarn Nicholas. The last photograph could be a C. cyprium ( forgot to make a note of it! It's a beauty ) I hope you enjoy.

Thanks for posting these photos of the shoe, I saw you loafing around speaking in that west midland brogue and with your camera to boot, I am glad you didn't slipon anything or you may not have been able to post these lovely pics. The last plant is creticum which was one of mine.

Nice photos Roy. It's like being there again....looking at all those gorgeous plants on display. One day I might just get somewhere near growing my plans to that standard. I was going to suggest that the last plant was Pat's ex CSE creticum.. and isn't that coum either Tile Barn Graham or Elizabeth, Roy? Or are you just testing our identification skills. Either way, it's good of you to share them with us Roy...thanks.

Hi Roy - Well you know you were at least one down in attendance as I'm over hear. Your photos bring back such great memories, I wish I was there with all my cyclamen gardenbuddies. Thanks for sharing all the photos. Dee, you did not go?? The sales must have been way down or at least some others got a shot at a plant or two! Pat, congratulations, fantastic plants. I really like all these species.

Hi Terry, Yes I was there....I just meant that seeing the photos, is like being there again...they're a lovely reminder.
and....I may have bought a plant or two....well 20 actually, but hey, it helps raise funds for the cyclamen society ( well, that's my excuse)...and you never know, I may have picked up a future show winner from those plant sales. Jan bought along a great selection of pseudibericum and rhodium plants....and I just couldn't resist. Jan and Mieke also bought over a fantastic display of Cyclamen memorabilia, it was amazing the things they had collected relating to cyclamen... porcelain, tiles, books, postcards, stamps to name but a few. I regret not taking photographs of the items now. Thank you Jan and Mieke for showing us your wonderful collection.

Thanks Pat for the comments. I'm still laughing... Yep I did put my foot in it. I'm definitely a trainer with Cyclamen species. Fancy mis-naming your creticum. Need to visit my Doc..Martin...or have a sandals holiday !!!
Hi Dee, One day I will write down the species as I go round photographing... You passed the identification test.... The coum is TileBarn Elizabeth........ But it could be TileBarn Graham..... HELP !!!!!!!!!
Terry, Good to hear from you. You were missed. Hopefully the garden buddies can all meet up together once again in the future.

Dee, 20 plants! You sure are adding to the society's funds. Where are you fitting them all? Your glasshouse looked pretty full last time you posted pictures. Can you treat us with some photos of your new purchases? What a treat to meet Jan too. Hopefully he posts some photos too. Now I am really missing everyone! By the way did anyone get a cyclamen society journal since the December issue?

Thanks for sharing your collection-I can see a few thinks I would think of buying. The prints look especially appealing and I could have fit it in the suitcase!
