Okay, I'll go first! Not really a water garden but a garden next to our pool. I started this garden three years ago after a huge, overgrown blue spruce tree had to be cut down. The first large rock was placed over the stump to cover it and the rest grew from there. This was where I was first successful at growing roses. I have about 9 roses, 5 clematis, pulmonaria, a daylily, small rock garden perennials, herbs, dahlias, and other annuals planted here. The two plants front-left are in containers. You can see my Things-to-be-planted holding area in the background

A very pretty border. I like the different textures and colors of your foliage.

and I already like this forum...this is exactly what we need more off. great stuff Susan. You're border is so lush and green...notthing like our dry, brown, crisp, moisture starved borders in Southern Ontario. I can see where you get at least a portion of subjects for the Gallery Walks.

Great forum. I am always interested in finding new combinations and GB is the right place to come for inspiration. Very nice Susan. Do I recognize daylily Grand Palais in this border. I saw GP posted in one of the Gallery Walks. The brutal heat here has faded some of our DLs. Your border really pops.
