Looking out from the deck...
And looking across the back. Newly planted peach melba heuchera light up the edge of the silk lilac border.. They are planted in front of daylily Margaret Davis and beautiful blue siberian irises.

Kim, the garden looks fantastic, so lush. How long have you been working in this garden? My Margaret Davis is in a pot at the moment-the heat was so bad I thought I would pot her up and keep her well watered till it cooled down. She's starting to send out new growth! Within the next week I will get her planted so she can snuggle in for the winter.

It is always a pleasure to see your garden. There is so much that you have there and it's all so green, big and lush...when oh when will my garden begin to look like this...

Luiza, my garden is now in it's tenth season. Well at least parts of it :). I started down one side one year, the back the next, the other side the next:). I had a blank slate - not even a tree. My first borders were about 2 feet wide. Now they are 11 and 12 feet wide. I've run out of room - that's my real challenge now. So many plants - not enough room!

Always a delight to see your beautiful garden and pond, Kim! So park-like. What is that beautiful, tropical-leaved plant to the back and right of the pond?

I'm on 10 acres and have run out of room! That didn't stop me from buying a Peach Melba Heuchera this week! Love your new puppy!
