Newly planted peach melba heuchera light up the edge of the silk lilac border.. They are planted in front of daylily Margaret Davis and beautiful blue siberian irises. How long have you been working in this garden? My Margaret Davis is in a pot at the moment-the heat was so bad I thought I would pot her up and keep her well watered till it cooled down. She's starting to send out new growth! Within the next week I will get her planted so she can snuggle in for the winter. Well at least parts of it :). I started down one side one year, the back the next, the other side the next:). I had a blank slate - not even a tree. My first borders were about 2 feet wide. Now they are 11 and 12 feet wide. I've run out of room - that's my real challenge now. So many plants - not enough room!
