I made this lasagna bed last summer, starting with newspapers & cardboxes, peat moss, leaves, manure & topsoil, all layered. Late summer blooms last year were very pleasing. I enjoy walking into the "quarter of a pie" shaped garden and seeing the tulips and nepeta blooming now. (please ignore the tall grass in front. I only included this photo so that you could see the size of the garden bed) I have white foxglove, more nepeta, phlox, Great Blue lobelia, iris, anemones and some native plants and shrubs to look forward to also.

Looks like all your hard work has paid off Denise...I like it very much! I like a lot of pink. :)

That looks so good Denise. I used the lasagna method on some beds last year and am very happy with the results.
