Just some old & some newer pictures I finally got around to posting (2002-2007). Like many, I am constantly changing, adding/deleting plants & beds. I am never satisfied with how my landscaping is. I wish I could/would take it all out & start all over. I didn't know a thing about plants, flowers, etc. when I first began landscaping. I started reading, researching and studying & have actually come a long way since 2002 Like most of you, gardening/landscaping is now my true passion (Hope I post these right!)

Did you move? I thought you had a smaller garden with a fence out front? I think you did a very nice job, welcome to the never satisfied club.

I just went back to your old post that I remembered and saw it was a garden of a family member. Memory is not completely lost...

Wow, what a terrific job! You have really put in a lot of time and effort, and it shows. Now it's time to rip out some of that nice new sod to make room for more flower beds. Haha!

To think how much more I would have accomplished in my yard right now if I wasn't working on my family's yards...sigh
Thank you very much DH. Every time my back feels like it is going to break, I just keep digging & telling myself it will be worth it when I am finished!
You don't know how many times a day I think about what part of the grass to take out next..especially since we have been in a severe drought here & my nice green grass that took 5 years to get looking so good & weed free is now brown :( I am always open for suggestions on where to start a new bed... for years now I have wanted to put in a small cutting garden in my back yard--maybe I will be posting before & after pics of that next year :)

Cool! I won't hold you to it, though. I am very familiar with the best-laid plans of mice and gardeners.

DH, I think you are trying to drive me to do this cutting garden... I have been pondering it for about 2 years now so I know what you mean about the best-laid plans of mice and gardeners :) Also, I have been following your post on your paint color dilemna--good luck with that. I can't wait to see what you choose in the end-- I am holding you to finishing that project! lol (I really like your latest color choices you have posted- I like both colors; I really like that particular shade of green)

You make it sound like 2 years is a long time... I've been contemplating painting my house for 5 years. HAHA! But if you want motivation, by the end of next year I WILL HAVE PUT IN A CUTTING GARDEN AND PAINTED MY HOUSE. :-O I might not live to show the before and after pix, though. LOL.
Waah! I hope not; I see this painting issue becoming a project for next year yet again. I need scaffolding...
Same here. HAHAHA! I'm glad you like the green. I'm still scared to follow through with these colors, though. Eeek! Once I get the scaffolding, though, I'm just going to close my eyes and start spraying. HAHA!
