Plant Forum

I saw this bowl of auricula flowers today...and I thought you guys here may like to see it too.

Not enough yellow flowers in there for me....but still very pretty. The very dark one on the bottom right was almost black.

I did buy an auricula today, don't ask me why, as I can't keep them...but it was a lovely yellow with a green edge. I thought I'd put it in the garden, but when I got it home I noticed it said...grow in alpine house...drat.

All the spring shows are starting now aren't they. I'm going to a primula show on Saturday (since Cycnich introduced me to primula allionii) and the AGS show at Pershore on Easter Monday.....all those plants....lovely!

Dee, thanks for posting that photo, beautiful!

Boy do I wish, we lived near each other. I might even learn to drive on the "wrong side of the road" so we could go on outings together!

Oh, wouldn't that be good Terry. I'd love that too. I've got no girl friends that are 'into' gardening.

Just think......all those garden centres and tea rooms......yummy!

Ashwood, correct? It must be there way of enticing the public to buy, buy, buy. And I am sure it works like a charm!

Garden centers and tea rooms, we would be very dangerous together, wouldn't we? Maybe I'll get to visit again, and we'll have to meet at a few garden centers & tea rooms.

Very pretty Dee especially the dark one. I can see what you mean about not enough yellow. It would have set the darker colours off much better with a few more.

Oh yes! Could there be a more perfect combo?
