Yes it is starting fo flower now, that is very early this year... It is a little plant that grows fine in a humus rich soil.

We have the native Isopyrum biternatum. It is evergreen here in PA. I thought it should be planted near Thalictrum thalictroides ( Anemonella thalictroides) to contrast the two plants since they have a similar look. The Thalictrum went dormant at the first frost.
