I have just planted these seeds after a few weeks of cold stratification and 24 hours soaking. I heard they are slow and erratic germinaters and am wondering if they are worth the wait...never seen them in real life???

I don't know where you are or what your zone is, but these plants produce seeds that will take over your garden for years in a new definition of "weediness" that you may regret. I'm in z5 and still find a few popping up +6 years after the one plant I had went to seed. Just a warning.

Oh..Oh...I'm in Zone 8....so much for slow & erratic germinaters! I wanted them by a gate where there are no other flower gardens but my veggie garden is about 50 feet away.....oh..oh. Maybe I'll toss them.

Actually, we'll be putting new fencing up quite aways a way from the gardens, and since I am now getting really good germination, I think I'll dig some garden around this new fencing and put them in and they can kiss-me-over-the-garden-gate all they want!
