I have a very pushy dutchmans pipe growing up the side of my porch....gotten way of of hand. Can I cut it Way back without killing it.

Last year I cut my Aristolocia elegans down to 30cm height, but it's a small plant. I think you can cut it down to old woods, but please keep some new shoots too.
