I'm in your state too. I'm a 4b. You're a 5a. Wonder where the cut off is.

Very pretty! Echinacea are one of my favorites. The Green Envy is really neat.

Thank you for the eye candy! I really would like to get some of the newer ones, but I have to make a choice, sometimes, and clematis and Japanese Maples win out! lOL

hey al
Nice looking plants you got there.
Did you get them in a co-op by chance or bought locally?

yep, those are all purdy.
I went through a big echinacea fetish 4 years ago but still love them. So many of the new ones like Art's pride, Mango, etc. didn't make it through. I really loved Razzmatazz. Mine only made it two years but the extra I gave my neighbor is prospering. Main difference in location is afternoon shade for his.
I added a variegated cone this year that really bloomed and I love the foliage. Now it's a wait and see if it makes it through the winter and we're starting out with a bang. 3 degrees this morning but at least I've got 8" of snow on the ground.

This is one of the variegated's bloom just opening. It got really full when open.
You can see the mottled variegation below. Reminds me of the heuchera Snow Queen

Fragrant Angel has been a solid performer for me too.
