RUHI2
Group: Dicot
Family: Asteraceae
Duration: Annual
Biennial
Perennial
Growth Habit: Forb/herb
U.S. Nativity: Native

I was looking at this site before I posted here on GB. Funny you were at the same one. I didn't see you there .It says it is annual,,,,,biennial, and a perennial. So, I'm blonde.
I have had susans that come back, like Indian summer and goldstrum. Was wondering what this would do.

I planted three last year and none of them returned, sadly, so I din't plant them again. This is a beautiful flower. My susans come back too.

I've had these for two years,Mimi. The second year was a much larger group. They seem to reseed easily as I found a few in other parts of the garden. Good luck with yours!

Guess Time will tell.
Maybe I should find some Goldstrum so I know it will work & put these in pots.

I've probably got seeds for the Goldstrum if you would like some. Oh, I noticed you at that sight. Hollared but you didn't hear me. ;)

If I had my back to you..... I probably had my iPod in my head, jammin to the tunes. Sorry.
How long do Goldstrum take to flower from seed anyways.

Have you seen the Rudbeckia subtomentosa 'Henry Eilers' in the December Fine Gardening Magazine? Looks fun to me!(What's with December being on the shelves already?)

I've grown Rudbeckia Prairie Sun for the last three years and it returns..sort of in the same area. ;-)

Good question. I just know they self-seed here and I have to be vigilant in thinning them out.
