I dont understand why my callas did not produce any flowers this year but the foliage grew to be about 2 feet tall? Can someone help me out?

Usually, when bulbs or tubers don't bloom it's because they are planted to deep or the lighting is not right for them. For example, daylilies and irises won't bloom, even though they produce a lot of foliage, if they're planted very far beneath the surface of the soil, or if they don't get at least four hours of direct sun each day.

Correct me if im wrong, but dont you plant teh calla bulbs/corms 3-4 inches deep? Since this happened, would it hurt the growth of the buls?
