Took some cutting maybe a month ago. I let them sit in a cup of water for 2-3 weeks, until I saw a root/shoot starting to grow at the base of where I had snapped them off from the mother plants. Next time I will try in sand instead of sitting in water(had no sand on hand to use), sand seems to work better then plain old water for cuttings.

Spiderwort update. The one plant was flowering the other day. It's purple, which I didn't have. I have Blue, and a White/Blue growing outside.
