This is its first bloom but it has many buds yet to open. It was given an AGM and it is easy to see why. We first saw one at Newby Hall and Gardens where we often go. Its pale beauty and form immediately attracted us and we made the decision to find one for our own garden. It has not been a disappointment.

So do we, Ann. I can hardly wait till Easter weekend when it officially opens again for the start of the season. Just hope the weather is as good as this weekend's has been. And hopefully their camellias will all be in bloom!
