I live in the north zone 3 and have had some success growing plumeria in tub culture and have always loved the Camelia bloom and wonder if it can be possible to bloom these in our poor humidity conditions? I seem to like the formal -semi formal look the most and one like Show No Saki is a lovely one. Any idea if the culture is possible? I summer out plumeria and tropical hibiscus and get some bloom but always a challenge here. Any helps or cultivar names Please Butrscoch

Since I grow almost all of mine in pots, I can assure you it is possible. I keep them outside as long as possible, as they all can take some frost. The hardier ones even quite a bit. But they need to be overwintered in a place that receives as much light as possible but is quite cool. Mine are then crowded into our unheated glass veranda that is normally around +5 to +8°C in the winter. If you can offer them something similar, keeping them a bit above freezing, all the cultivars should thrive.
