Beautiful color! It must be rare or something entirely new. Where did you see it?

It was 5 kms from my house where a camellia lover lives. I have seen more interesting plants.

I have seen more interesting plants. I would LOVE to see some pictures of those Ton! But "Knight Rider" has really special color. I think I have never seen it around here. How big are the flowers Ton?

I really like 'Spring Festival'. It has a very delicate beauty. Is it spreading or upright?

I have Spring Festival too, and it has delighted me this year with precisely TWO flowers. Another one, Bella Romana, hasn't flowered at all, just put out many new leaves. What am I doing wrong? I fed them all last year, after they had finished flowering, with a slow release rhododendron fertiliser. Jane, the growth is very upright.

I only use a little bit fertilizer with a low Nitrogen f.e. 10:30:20(N:P:K)this is special for buds. If you feed your Camellia's too much you only get grow and no flowers.

Night Rider, Spring Festival - they are so delicately beautiful. But "Bella Romana" - please, Gardenfiend, can you post a picture from it? I want to compare with another unknown to me. Can you?

Erika, I have two photos of Bella Romana from 2006.
But... like so many variegated camellias, some of the flowers were just one colour.

Hi, Gardenfiend! That's very nice from you to send these photos! They are very, very pretty, as one as the other, yes! How young is your plant? What does it require? I needed this picture to compare with an unknown one which has one middle white stripe, what is typically for it. So, Bella Romana, as pretty as it is, isn't the same. But I like it!! Thank you!

I've only had it since 2006. This past spring it had no flowers, but I just looked and now it is covered in buds Do you have a photo of your mystery camellia. Is it also fully double? Maybe someone can identify it.

So I am happy for you for all your buds! Yes, posting a photo that would be the best. I'll try it later on. So, please, wait still a little bit.
