The following picotee flowers are blooming now in my garden. I like picotee flowers very much. What is your favourite one?

Toshio You have some beautiful picotee forms. Picotees are also a favourite of mine. If pushed I would say that of the first set of pictures that pics 2,3 and 5 would be my favourites. The green toned flower in the third picture would get my number one vote. Excellent colour variation and shape and the dark nectaries add to an almost perfect flower. Would I be correct in assuming that the plant was bred using a species as one parent?

I particularly like the fourth one (and the shape of the green one), but all are quite gardenworthy for sure!

Hi Toshio-san, Each flower is very unique and different, so it's hard to pick. But I like the second, third, and fifth ones especially. Is the second flower the same one that you use for your profile picture?

Great photography, Toshio! I would keep them all (and some of them in the long run, I guess) and my personal ranking would be: No 4, No 2, No 5, the rest is undecided. The striped nectaries are indicative of certain species influence, even if you didn't use species in your crosses producing these plants.

Thank you everyone for your votes and comments on my picotee flowers. Jeff, I hear the flower in the third photo is a H.torquatus hybrid. Peppa-san, the flower in the second photo looks like the same one as my profile photo. But, it is different. The flower of my profile picture, which has the striped nectaries, is as follows:
It might show a certain species influence, as Matthias pointed out.

Great blooms, Toshio! Picotees are long time favorites for me too! This year, I even found anemone centered picotees with a picotee necklace of nectaries!
(I called this one "Purple Rain", lol...) and this paler one with a lovely necklace too!

Anne-Marie, your anemone centered picotees are very nice. The necklaces of nectaries are lovely as well. Please take a look at my anemone centered picotee.
