Author Message   Gardenbug  Supporting Member Posted on Thursday, April 10, 2008 - 06:38 pm EST :    Today, doing nothing in particular except picking up some branches left by flooding, I felt a twitch and then a pain in my right knee. The worst time of all for this, with training a puppy and spring gardening about to begin! DH took me for a drive and we ended up at a nursery and three hellebores followed me home. I don't "need" them, but they do make me feel better! After that, it's all fair game and a matter of perspective. If someone 'needs' a house or 'needs' a car, they might as well need a hellebore or two or five. :-) I love that first photo Marie. This afternoon I planted them outside where yellow foxgloves used to frolic a little too enthusiastically. The tag calls all three of them Double Lenten Roses, "Double Vision". Caution, harmful if eaten! Gee, I was going to add them to our salad tonight...(Just kidding.)
