Cindy, the name you mentioned wasn't familiar but bear in mind that I've had mine for a couple of years. I ordered the red one for my sister from the link I gave you...it is beautiful!! I like that stand..I can see that indoors as well as outdoors.

Dori, I should be on a first name basis with those folks at Warmbiers. :) They are the best. I won $100 in a drawing they had this summer...I was so happy! There's a lot to be said for living in the boonies like we do, don't you think?

Those are beautiful. I've been to a craftshow a couple years in a row and woman makes beautiful bowls, candleshades etc. with some kind of artful paint and then she puts the white string of lights inside as well. She also puts in twinkling white lights. Just beautiful, you can try those too if you like.

I just came across your thread now, Tanya. They are beautiful and what a great idea. I'd love to see those lit up in my garden in the summer. How do the Amazon prices compare to those you bought at Warmbier's?

Thank you, Posy. I bet your night-lights are neato.

Thanks, Susan. I think the prices are pretty close. There was no shipping charge either (w/Amazon) so that was a major plus.

Tanya, the ball came today and it's positively gorgeous! There was just enough sunlight left in the day as I held it up in the window and saw that magic! I bought 2 strings of lights ... one without a connecting plug and an LED string with one. This weekend I'll see which works, or looks the best. I've never bought LED lights before and am hearing conflicting info.

Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again! The Birdbrain ball is made in Poland and looks nothing like that cheap thing from China that Hobby Lobby was selling for the same price. (Even discounted theirs would've been a waste of money.)

Cindy, I am so happy to read this! For some reason this didn't show as new until now. What color did you get then? Let us know about the lights.

Tanya, I got blue, but still haven't tried the lights. It's been a little crazy around here. I'll let you know when I do.
