This guy in the country has over 200 Elephant Ear Plants, so I asked him if I could get some leaves before he cut them down for winter. He said sure take what you want, it was real hard to only take a few and see the rest go to waste! I got this one and it's 28"x18", I made it from Portland cement & sand and reinforced with drywall tape. Can't wait to paint it.

200? Wow! That's a very nice casting you did and it'll be great to see it painted. I hope you'll post photos. BTW, you're from Indiana? One of my closest friends recently moved back to Vincennes.

I've not been familiar with Indiana. Funny how things pop up which make us aware. The fact that a good friend moved there makes me want to study the map. Hope you post your beautiful project when it's painted!
