I am trying to start this spiralis from seed and am wondering if anyone else has tried with any success? It's been almost 4 weeks now and I still don't see any signs of life. I placed the seeds on top of a good seed starting mix and placed them under grow lights. Am keeping them moist. I found this plant last year and was very taken with it but didn't know much about it. Didn't know it needs LOTS of water! Probably could have wintered it over if I had known more. So now I have the seed and would really appreciate hearing from someone with experience with it. I posted this in the perennial section also since I think it is in some areas.}

Marian, Try posting this in "Starters in the Garden" forum. That's where you can get seed starting Questions answered.

I have seeds for this plant as well but haven't started to grow them yet as the plant is hardy.
