I'll be trying it for the 1st time, mainly for the tropical look. I bought some seeds off ebay, and am currently soaking them, then start them indoors. The plants seemed small for quite a long time and even after I'd planted them in the garden they seemed to stay still...but then, wow! They took off and were an absolutely amazing show. Do take care with the seeds though as they are extremely poisonous. Good luck and post some pics of your plants in the summer! Mine didn't re-seed, probably because of the Maine winter. Kniphofia. I wanted to start one too I was given seeds but they were picked too soon I was told They are white . Are they any good?
