Has anyone tried this plant from seed? I had excellent germination rate, 100 percent believe it or not. I find it slow growing, or maybe I left them in the peat pellets too long. Any experience would be appreciated. Latin name: Porphyrocoma Pohliana Maracas

Update on these. The plants were beautiful, until our Louisiana heat and humidity started melting them. They are supposed to be for high heat, and I would think humidity since they are tropical. I had excellent germination, 100 percent. I only have one flower on them. I am disappointed to say the least.
