I have a reiger begoina that I need some help with. In doing some research I ran across a tip that said after your reiger stops blooming, cut It back to about three Inches and put It In a cool spot until growth starts up. In another site It said as long as It's In a good spot with good light It will bloom again. which one Is right? mine Is getting quite tall and has alot of new leaves. what should I do? I love your site here. lots of great Info.

My only advice for top-heavy plants would be exactly as you said. I would cut it back to a place where you want branching to begin, and then clip is every couple of inches after that so it forms a nice, full plant. That being said, I have no knowledge whatsoever - LOL.

thank you Lovinlife. right now It's very even on the leaves however every plant can use some extra filling out.I think I will give It a shot of fertilizer and see what happens. thanks again.

How's the shot working, Leslie? I see that in my previous post I left an unfinished sentence.
I mean to say that I have no knowledge of that particular begonia. Oh well...
