I have lots of buds the size of DJ's posting in late August! I hope I get something before the frost.

I've had two more flowers since my October 3rd posting. Amazing!

DJ, you are welcome to come and sit on the top of my patio fence any time. ROFL

I'm sure that would be real classy! HAHA!!!

Wow, when does your frost usually come? I hope your buds make it to blossoms!

DJ, it usually comes by late October. Maybe we'll continue with Indian Summer, I'll see my Moon Flowers, and your painting will be all done (I've been following it along with everyone else, it's great looking!)

I wish you (and me) lots of luck with that! Wasn't there a children's book called "Endless Summer"? I vaguely remember a sketch of a girl and a horse on the dust jacket.

I have a few nice size buds so hopefully this week, I will see a few open! If we continue our warm weather, I may just have a nice display before the frost come.

Terry, I hope you don't end up having to build a little hothouse for them. Time is ticking.... Come the frosts, they'll turn into pumpkins!

DJ, the first one opened tonight and another looks like it may open at some point tonight. So maybe I will have some before frost.

Oh, yay, wow! I just love the way you captured its satiny look. Must see more!

Thanks DJ. Probably was able to capture the satin look because the picture was taken at 10PM (we had company and I almost forgot to check it!).

I know exactly what you mean. These flowers should come with little bells. I was staring at a patch of my garden earlier, wondering where in the world I should plant my lily bulbs, and suddenly noticed yet another Moon Vine flower. If I try them again next year, I really need to plant them by themselves where I can't possibly help but notice them.

Your Moonflower indeed captures the texture of satin. What an attractive flower, Terryk.
