My boxes get full like this , then by mid July they become so skimpy

I fertlize but maybe not with the right kind

How do you keep your boxes looking so full and healthy

Ann, if you're growing cascading (or any kind of) petunias, just cut them back and in a couple of weeks they will be fuller with more blossoms.

I put a lot of plants into them. You can do this if the soil is deep enough. These boxes are about 6" deep, 6" wide, and about 18" long. Into each one I put no fewer than 4 cascading petunias. In those I've shown here I have 6 in each box.
