Has anyone tried to winter their osteospermum? I would like to try it. Maybe just cut it back and store it near the freezing point much like a geranium? Ideas or thoughts are welcome!

If you still have one alive and the space to store it, why not give it a try. Mine never make it past July. cut it back, keep it moist enough over the winter to keep it from totally drying out and then ease it back into the outdoors when the temps are in the upper 40's.

I had 6 plants this yr 2 white long gone 2 orange 1passed away :( other flowers now passedand have potted her up in a pot and she is in my greenhouse for now . Two beautiful purple that wee still well in bloomlast week but needed to dig up an dmove to another part of th egardne wehre for now still look happy. A guessing game but in UK for me I will loose them if they are not protected. But a nice challenge Lanac to try to overwinter. In summer new plants not too expensive to buy. Good luck anyway. Take a before and after picture.

Will they self-sow. I have a few blooming and desire to have them earlier in the season. When we get them they do not last long because of the heat. My favorite is the white with blue center. I have always had to pamper them.
