Author Message   Kvilledude  My Weather Posted on Sunday, February 09, 2003 - 05:09 am EST :    I just recently got introduced to the seed savers exchange and ordered some seeds from them www.seedsavers.org and must say I was quite impressed with some of the seeds they offered and the prices. They also shipped promptly and I received my seeds within a week of ordering over the web. The only expensive seed I ordered were some of Vigna caracalla or the corkscrew vine (5 for $5.00). I purchased a plant from Jackson and Perkins last spring and it cost with shipping well over $25.00. The vine is supposed to be hardy in zone 7 but with our winter this year, I decided to have some standbys just in case. The smell of the flowers is just indescribable when it blooms. About 15 seeds for $2.25 plus s/h. I got mine right away with a history of the seeds from the Monticello estate of Jefferson.
