I love my pond and thought I would share it here with you.
I had 44 goldfish this spring - I see some babies so I don't know how many I have now.
The rock fountain is a wonderful birdbath.
It has become a haven for the numerous frogs
and really attracts the flying insects.
The sounds of water are so relaxing,
and it rewards me with beautiful blooms.
Did I mention I LOVE MY POND

You have some magic touch! Those pictures bring tears to my eyes. I scanned the pics over and not one darned weed--so what planet are you from? I gotta study them for ideas. My pond is an above ground cement one with ocean fish scrolled on the sides. I have three fountains; two are for bubbles and I have a big old hippo spitter that I just love, so I am trying for the "african" theme. I have surrounded the pond with driftwood and planted all sorts of flowers around that are "Africa" and have some kaffir lilies, flowering rush, nelumbos, zebra rush, parrotfeather, watercress, purple pickerel weed, lizard tail and dawrf cavendish banana in the pond. I used to have about 40 fish but a blue heron visited, so have about 30. Fortunately, the Shibunkins were left alone (these are the comets with pearly blue in them; I wanted that gene in the mix). However, my pond is nowhere near the beauty of yours--how do you keep predators away? I also made a big cement leaf from one of my gunnera leaves; it catches the waterfall and spreads out the bubbles--easy to make, even with rhubarb leaves. Wonderful pictures, thank you for the inspiration!!!

Hi... I'm new too... have a tiny old pond that I have been slowly reworking into something presentable and enjoyable for me and my tiny koi fry. How can I post direct pic rather than a link to photobucket? Thanks CJ

Go to the upper part of the website where all the computer stuff is, unless it is at the bottom of the website now. There has been some revamping. Usually, you use the paperclip symbol to help you upload.
