Author Message   Whis4ey  My Garden Posted on Saturday, December 02, 2006 - 11:46 am EST :    The Pond I went out walkin yesterday Not a fish could see It was all cold and frosty As I bent down on my knee To peer into the murky gloom And softly call their name But no one answered, cos you see They played the heron’s game So next year I feel I have to change Solution for to find To beat the dreaded heron And save these fish of mine (Nets, fishing line or gater’s head? A 12 bore gun to make them dead? Or buy myself a dog instead? And go back to my comfy bed?........ ) Who knows the joys and woes of ponds Cept those who venture there So keep you spirits high aloft Pack it in??
