Does anyone have this one? I just ordered it this week so I'm curious to know more about it. Here is a link.

Is this a nelumbo type? I am growing them from seed--nelumbo lutea and sacred lotus, both hardy Zone 8 and need not be removed from the pond unless it freezes solid (their roots won't take it). The sacred comes in both red and white (I chose white because lutea is yellow) and are purfumed too.
Yours is gorgeous. I'll have to wait awhile I'm afraid but the two little devils are growing in pails waiting for the pond to get warmer.
Really good for pond health and for fish but beware of getting any snails because fish like them too. Also, these flowers prefer calm waters and little splashing (especially tropicals).

Oh, just noticed it's a nymphaea! I think they might be quite tender and must be brought in during winter. Not sure though.

I hope not, Stephie. Still waiting for mine to flower. Looks very promising and putting out some tiny, dark red leaves.
