A head start and a half..That is what you have.It looks like an elite nursery. The Amaryllis..will you bring it in now? I truly would consider a greenhouse if I lived in Georgia. The pleasure it must bring.. Since it was freezing and blustery again today April 6th..I don't think I would be happy to pay for the heating in my climate. Just look at your begonias.. and mandevillas.. and salvias.. I bet it smells like summer. Bravo. Love it.

Lots of begonia and mandevilla! I just moved my passiflora and mandevilla out this week; they look pretty sad after being indoors all winter, but they will perk up quick. My greenhouse is full of flats of dirt - the seeds are in there but haven't germinated yet as it has been too cold. I have the heat on, set at a minimum of 10 C. Soon it will be warm and sunny...repeat after me....soon it will be warm and sunny....repeat after me....soon it will be....

I have a question for anyone out there. My husband gave me a lovely mandevilla plant for Mothers Day. I live in zone 5, so will have to bring it in this fall. What I need to know now is, do I leave it in the pot it came in, or plant it in the ground and then repot in the fall? Also, do I cut it back in the fall or leave it alone. My Mom had one at one time and usually left it in the same pot and put it in my aunt's greenhouse for the winter. I would love a greenhouse, but it's not in the cards for now. TIA Diane in Missouri
