This is one of the more less price models but seems to be doing well for me.We just put it in this fall and have only had about three freezes so far.I bought a small electric heater a walmart for $13.00 that has been just right for the job.My Clematis love the heat but some of the other plants seem to get to much sun.Looking for some screen materials at this time.Plant Forum

What a beautiful little house! I have two small houses (8'x6' and 10'x6') not dissimilar to this. There are any number of ways to cause shade, during the hot months I sometimes use 'shading paint' - a chalky compound you just mix with water, and paint on. (Like this http://www.diy.com/diy/jsp/bq/product/product.jsp?PRODID=176457) (Or you can buy similar in a canister for spraying on = no mixing) It dries white, like whitewash, I don't know if you are familiar with it. You can vary the amount of mix, to vary the degree of shade. To remove it you just wipe it off with a dry cloth. You can shade selected parts of the house, or more or less of it, as required.

As an alternative, a few years ago I decided to try some netting - you can buy close-weave netting material, usually one yard/metre wide - I mounted sufficient onto a square frame of very light timber, so it is easy to handle - the netting gives about 50% shade, with this you can be more active, as you can just put the netting over the outside of the glass as and when you wish and it only takes two minutes to put on or take off.

Kris, I saw a greenhouse like that one at Costco, My wife said she was going to buy it for me for my birthday. I'm pretty excited after seeing how nice yours looks in your yard!

what a very nice house.I have a couple which I shade and like Brian use the spray on chalky compound. I leave it on all summer and then just wash it off in the autumn. The netting sounds a very good idea and I am going to give it a try
