Iris generally start to bloom the last week of March here, but are a bit behind schedule this year. I can't wait. Thanks for the gorgeous preview. Anne

Allieok; The first one name unknown, the second one IS Glacier Point, third one Crimson King an old one. Valia; Where in WA are you guys from? My Mom lives in Oroville, Wa. over on the North East side of the state. I am having new blooms almost every day now, will get some more pic up soon. Ted

Hi Ted, For 19 years DH and I lived on Huckleberry Mountain, in the woods west of Ione, WA, which is a tiny bit south of Oroville, but way over by the Idaho border. We were making our own power and enjoying the forest, but winters became overwhelming, so in 1999 we bought a place in town. Even that meant more ice than we wanted to deal with, so we sold that place and are now spending winters in southern Utah, halfway between St. George and Zion National Park. We still hope to spend summers on Huckleberry Mountain. Tonasket is the nearest I've ever been to Oroville. Anne
