We have a whole bunch of the shorty purples but these just opened. We got them at a local nursery that had no clue, just that they were early. They look so good to eat!!
(everyday early purple)
Anyone have a guess??

Yet another unknown early mini that DS picked up at the same place. Tony_willis, we have 6 clumps of the first one in the front yard, this is DS favorite early one. As you can see he loves irises!

The first one looks like Crimson King, an oldie from 1893 I think- It blooms here in early March & sometimes re-blooms in June.
