this is one from the SE Italy where it grows in a multitude of colour forms. This is not the most attractive combination I think

I think it is very cool looking !! The way the colors swirl around, almost like flowing water. And those beards, all ramrod straight. Is this something in your flower bed?

I agree the colours and the form are very beautiful. Just the kind of iris I like.

No it is growing in a pot in my greenhouse. I have six of them in different colours but they are hard to flower. I do not think we get enough heat in summer to ripen the rhizomes. They would rot outside we have too much rain
